Fireside Publications accepts novels in the following genres only:
Romance ~ Romantic Suspense ~ Mystery ~ Thriller ~ Paranormal ~ Science Fiction ~ Fantasy

Please do not submit any other genre. No other genre will be reviewed.
Do NOT submit via email or fax. Send hard copy, mailed submissions only.
Do NOT require a signature for delivery.

Submission Guidelines:
To be considered, you must follow these guidelines precisely.
~ Word Count: Romance, Romantic Suspense, or Mystery... 60,000 to 100,000 words
        Submissions in excess of this number will not be reviewed.
        Science Fiction, Paranormal and Thrillers may be longer, but not excessively so.
~ Type double-spaced on one side of the page only.
~ Use Times New Roman 12pt for the entire manuscript. Do not use large or fancy fonts.
~ Do not use fancy fonts anywhere in your submission.
~ Put a heading on every page, consisting of your last name and title of the work.
~ Number each page.
~ Submit:
    - A cover sheet with your complete contact information.
    - The first 3 consecutive chapters, not to exceed 50 pages.
    - A single page synopsis.
    - A complete marketing plan for your book.
    - SASE (self addressed, stamped envelope). No response will be made without SASE. We do not reply via email.
Regarding the SASE:
            Sufficient return postage is your responsibility.
            Put your return address on the envelope.
            Be professional and use a #10 business sized envelope.

We will notify you if we wish to see additional material.

Please be aware that as a small press, our promotion budget is limited, therefore it will be necessary for the author to assume a large part of the promotion and sales for the finished book. We have a national distributor and a marketing director who does as much PR for our books as possible, but we are unable to concentrate on individual books as much as we would like to.
